The three P’s to success: Positive, Patience and Persistence

What if someone could lead you towards the gateway of success? And tell you an easy way to accomplish all that has been on your mind. Well, there’s no shortcut to success, that’s true! But yes, when guided righteously from the begining, achievement becomes a little more simplistic than ever.

Success is a very subjective term; it is different for everyone. For a student, success can be getting good grades or performing better in a certain activity like sports; for an adult, success can be bagging good work; for a parent, success can be his child’s accomplishments and so on. This also puts light on the fact that the definition of success keeps changing at every step. So, what was a success for you two years back might not be your goal at the current time.

Whatever is success for you at the present moment, a positive attitude, a patient mind, and persistent efforts will take you towards the desired destination.

Here’s what you need to know about these qualities:

Positive Attitude

Your attitude determines your vision in life.

When your glass is half-full, what do you look at? The emptiness or the fullness of the glass? There are two sides to everything, a positive and a negative, and you see things as per your perception and how your mind is structured to think. A positive attitude allows you to find an opportunity even when there’s no possibility of it being around.

Patient mind

The good old advice lingers around the essence of patience in human life. There are many situations in an individual’s life where patience is at the test, and the one who conquers it successfully makes it till the end.

What if you are solving a riddle and finding it extremely hard to find that last piece that would conclude it? A furious mind would resemble the quality and either leave that midway or jumble everything that was already solved. However, with patience, you can give it the most spectacular conclusion.

Persistent efforts

Ceasing to put effort is the real enemy of success. Hard work in human life cannot find a replacement, and, till the time you live, you need to consistently work hard, sometimes for shelter, sometimes for clothes and always for food. No matter what, efforts cannot cease at any point. Achievement is complementary to unretired willingness to work and keep going.

Success is prone to constant change, but what remains stagnant takes you towards various life goals through the qualities you exhibit.
