DON’T BE TOO HARD ON YOURSELF! GIVE YOURSELF THE CREDIT YOU DESERVE

People who see or find self-criticism and self-sabotage justified are the ones who are often too harsh on themselves. While rectifying your mistake is important. It is also essential to give yourself credit and celebrate every small accomplishment appreciating the hard work you’ve put in to achieve that.

Anxiety has become a part of our everyday life and we often believe it is essential to be competitive. This anxiety is a result of our failure to accept that not everyone’s struggle is the same and even those born with a silver spoon suffer in their way.

The world will become a less anxious place when we begin to see our failures as stepping stones and give ourselves credit for the minor changes that we make. This often starts from our judgment; we begin to compare and question our capabilities and find faults in ourselves. But we often forget that not everybody has the same experiences.

So, your focus should be YOU, but our focus tends to waver, and we pay attention to everybody’s attributes, which ultimately leads to an under confident mindset.

PRACTICE GRATITUDE

We Lack gratitude and appreciation towards the things we already have, and instead, we crib about the things we don’t have. Although being ambitious is not wrong, but appreciating what you have is also essential.

GIVE YOURSELF THE CREDIT

You can start by making small changes in your mindset; you first need to take responsibility for your own actions. You need to LIVE IN THE PRESENT rather than reminiscing the past or worrying about the future; we need to learn from our failures and detach from them instead of clinging on and lamenting, as this approach makes us more anxious and we tend to miss opportunities, We must practice gratitude and appreciate every small thing around us. This will help us manifest one of the greatest joys in life –PEACE.

PUT YOURSELF ON PRIORITY

Human beings are designed to foster relationships, and we want to feel accepted in society. If people disapprove of us, we blame ourselves, but we need to remember that self-love is best. The moment we start putting a higher value on ourselves, we detach from the need to expect approval from others and it comes automatically, without even trying.

KEEP A JOURNAL

Sometimes, sharing things with others becomes a task. If that’s the case, keeping a journal, and listing all of your accomplishments, celebrating them, no matter how small they are, is the way to go.

AVOID BURDENSOME PEOPLE

we often surround ourselves with people who tend to add more burden to our lives than they do good for us. We should always look at the people we associate with because our mind cultivates positive and negative energies. If you are surrounded by people who often put you down, then you will be living in a negative, self-loathing mindset, but if you are surrounded by people who lift you up every time that you fall, and appreciate your little accomplishments, then you’ll always feel supported and it will boost your confidence.
